Yes, this is checked already.
Furthermore I found out that in some messages, the link doesn’t target the dropbox files either, and there is no file path, just the filename. For example (again leaving some blanks in the html tags below):

< a href=”id.pdf”>id.pdf

This is rare, it happens approximately twice every 20 instances.
I have selected to store files only on dropbox.

Okay great I am glad the plug-in is working and there is no conflict with any other plug-in or JavaScript on my site.
I will try regenerating the token in dropbox.
